Jenny Bould
Principal Psychologist & Director

Jenny is the Principal Psychologist and Director who founded and significantly contributed to Hume Psychology & Counselling Services becoming the successful, reputable practice it is today.

Jenny brings extensive, multi-disciplinary expertise honed over three decades. She has held Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration since completing her Psychology qualifications in 2002, and has been a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) for nearly two decades. Prior to qualifying as a Psychologist, Jenny cultivated a robust foundation in therapeutic counselling as a qualified Social Worker since 1988. This experience also granted her a unique, comprehensive perspective on client care and systemic support.

In 2025, Jenny strategically transitioned her focus from direct client services, to prioritising the stability and future of the practice. Her current role centres on offering effective guidance and mentoring for Hume Psychology clinicians, and providing expertise with complex client intake presentations. This strategic focus solidifies the practice's commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality service delivery, ensuring operational excellence that meets the highest professional benchmark.
